ALL woofs ARE DIFFERENT!

WOOFS are individuals and we love that! They come in different colours, shapes, sizes, ​coats & temperaments and because every dog is different, our prices may vary from one ​dog to another. Price is dependent on the dogs SIZE, AMOUNT OF HAIR, COAT ​CONDITION & BEHAVIOUR. Coats that are DIRTY, MATTED, or LONG TIME BETWEEN ​GROOMS simply take more time to groom.

The pricing and information below is a guide to our services. An exact cost will be determined ​in person at the time of the appointment.

At the GOOD WOOF studio we will bend over backwards to make your best friend’s time ​spent with us, a tail wagging experience! We understand however, not all dogs are ​comfortable with the unfamiliar, or having their feet touched or are just having a bad ​day but in most cases we are ready and willing to work with you and your dogs individual ​needs to get the groom done in a positive and safe environment.

We are not in the business of turning dogs away!

We have years of experience in dealing with difficult & temperamental dogs and believe where ​there is a will there is a way!

We are strictly by appointment only. Your dog’s time is allocated just to them. Our ​focus during the appointment is 100% on your best friend. The studio provides a calm, ​safe space which minimizes sensory overload and stress. We take our time and give ​your dog the service, care & attention they deserve.

If you need to re-schedule your appointment please give us at least 24hrs notice. If you ​simply don’t turn up we will be very sad (insert puppy eyes) and another dog may miss out on ​their pampering .

And of course, we’re here to make ALL DOGS PRETTY!

For the BABY WOOF!

BABY WOOFS first introduction ​to grooming

A calm & fun time for your puppy with lots of play to ​ensure their first time at the groomer is positively ​positive to ensure they become comfortable with ​the grooming process and enjoy coming back to us ​again and again!

We will work at a puppy pace with your BABY WOOF ​to socialize them slowly to the grooming tools, ​grooming noises and different procedures so that ​future visits will be fuss free and stress free.

**BABY WOOF also gets a PUPPY LOVE PACK

that includes a toy, a treat, detangler hair brush, ​puppy tooth brush and information cards on how to ​maintain their coat & grooming needs in between ​visits.

MATting MATTERs ! what’s your coat like?

Matting happens!

Mats form in areas where there is friction - around the neck, behind ​the ears, in the armpits, between the toes & around your dogs rear ​end. Fur becomes tangled around itself, and forms a clump of tightly ​wound fur. Un-brushed mats will become more tangled and the mat ​will get closer to your dog’s skin. Ouch!

During your dogs groom a small amount of de-matting is normal. ​Small mats can be untangled with a little bit of time and elbow grease ​however attempting to brush out mats is an extremely painful ​process and for this reason shaving out mats is the safest and ​kindest option.

To remove a mat the blade needs to be placed between the skin and the ​matting. We work carefully and slowly, but the possibility of minor injury ​such as a small nick, clipper rash or skin irritation does exists as we have to ​work so close to the skin.

If your dog arrives to their appointment with extensive matting it will ​often result in your dog needing a full clip. De-matting a heavily ​matted dog can take hours and cause your dog terrible pain & stress!

Shaving out and removing mats is a slow & meticulous process!

** An extra fee of $20 per 20 mins will be added to your service for ​heavily matted coat removal, as it is more time intensive.
